Obituary of Luis R. Dueno

Luis R. Dueño (Apa- el viejo), 71, of Amsterdam passed away May 25, 2019 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Manati, Puerto Rico on December 19, 1947, and is the son of the late Angel L. and Julia Rivera – Dueño.

He is survived by his loving wife Milagros Dueño, his children Margie, Angel, Carmen (Jessie) and Jasmine Dueño. Grandchildren Cybill, Angel, Destinie, Marcos, Luis, and Victor. Great grandchildren NyAsiia, ZaMaya, Kiiara, and Manuel. Nieces and Nephews Lisa, Odessa, Jesus and Lauren, and his loving sister in law Louisa.  He is also survived by his brothers Angel, Hector (Endel) and his sister Maria Dueño.

During his lifetime he was a truck driver for Ricardo Wholesale in Manhattan.  He was also in the Alex Torres and his Latin Orchestra band here in Amsterdam. Luis also enjoyed spending time with his family and adored his grandchildren.

Relatives and Friends are invited to call at the Betz, Rossi, Bellinger Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010, on Thursday from 10 to 12 Noon with a Funeral Service here at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in the family plot of the Fairview Cemetery.
