Obituary of Sherri Lynn Wadsworth

After a long, hard fight with cancer, Sherri Lynn Wadsworth has passed away on May 20, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Gloversville on October 30, 1964 to Eunice Sweet-Skinner and Kenneth Sweet Sr. She married Clinton Emmette Wadsworth on June 24, 1983.

She worked for over 30 years in food service, many of which were spent managing the Glen Country Store. People came from miles around just for her cooking. Sherri found joy in her family especially in the company of her grandchildren and her dog Misty.

Sherri is survived by her husband Clinton Emmette Wadsworth, her daughters Amber Lee Wadsworth, Kasey Lynn Wadsworth, and Johannah “Fred” Ehnita Halliwell, her granchildren Brett Kneeskern, Zoey Leonard, Cadyn Torres, Nathan Porter, Mason Porter, Sidney Logan, and Olivia Minch.

She is also survived by her loving and beloved mother, Eunice Sweet-Skinner and her siblings: Sara Campbell, Robert Sweet, Richard Sweet, Susan Sweet, Kenneth Sweet Jr., Christine Dennis, Diane Howell, Bonnie Howell, and Debra VanBuren, and their spouses, as well as her step brothers and sisters. She is predeceased by her father, Kenneth Sweet Sr.

A Celebration of Sherri's Life will be held privately at the family's convenience.
