Obituary of Doris M. Thomas Albini

Mrs. Doris M. Thomas Albini,  age 88, of Gloversville, passed away Wednesday morning, May 22, 2019 at River Ridge Living Center, Amsterdam, after a lengthy illness.

She was born May 16, 1931 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Frederick and Mabel Wands Unger. She was employed by MCA Record Company for many years.

Doris was an avid dog lover and enjoyed riding Harley-Davidsons with her husband, Warren. She was of Roman Catholic faith and was a member of the former Sacred Heart Church.

Doris was predeceased by her husbands, Warren Thomas in 1990 and James Albini in 2012. She had three children, Laura Calabrese (John),  Warren Steven Thomas and Candace Mowrey (Anthony); five grandchildren, Candace  Calabrese (Len Kies), John  J. Calabrese (Christina), Adam Williams, Sierra Corona (Alex) and Anthony J. Salvione; three great-grandchildren,
Cassidy, Boden, and Emma; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends from  9 to 11am Saturday, May 25 at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville, where a Memorial Prayer Service will follow at 11:00am with the Rev. Matthew Wetsel officiating.

Interment will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville.
