Obituary of Donna Arlene Rockafellow

Mrs. Donna Arlene Rockafellow, age 73, of Gloversville, passed away peacefully May 2, 2019 at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville surrounded by her loving family.

She was born December 10, 1945 in Gloversville, the daughter of late George and Arlene Wager. She was later employed as a LPN by Nathan Littauer Hospital Extended Care of Gloversville for 35 years. She was big fan of the TV show Days of Our Lives and was known to enjoy reading a good book. Donna will be most fondly remembered for being a great mother to her children, and the wonderful work she did as a nurse.

Donna is survived by her daughter Michelle L. Snell (Thomas), her son Eric W. Rockafellow, a grandson Erin W. Rockafellow, a sister Janice Zayicek and several nephews, extended family members and friends.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Joan McGivern and a brother in-law Richard Zayicek.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00PM to 6:00PM, Monday May 6, 2019 at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St, Gloversville where a Funeral Service will immediately follow at 6:00PM with the Rev. R.W. Williams officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 2 Pine West Plaza #202, Albany, NY 12205 or Mountain Valley Hospice House, 108 Steele Ave, Gloversville, NY 12078.
