Obituary of Michael E. Richardson Sr.

Michael E. Richardson Sr., 59, of Amsterdam passed away with his loving family by his side on April 21, 2019. He was born April 21, 1960 in Amsterdam, and is the son of the late Abraham and Patricia Ann (Bellows) Richardson.

He is survived by his loving wife Darlene (Chichester) Richardson of Amsterdam, his two sons Michael E. (Yola) Richardson Jr. of Fort Johnson, and Christopher James Richardson of Amsterdam. Three sisters Pam Lais of Utica, Tammy Person of Broadalbin, and Penny Richardson of Amsterdam. Also by his son in law Stephen Cable Sr. of Glenville. Six grandchildren Stephen Jr., Samantha, Sean, Sabrina, Leilynn, and Caydence, and a great grandchild Elijah.

Besides his parents Michael is predeceased by two daughters Rebecca Chichester, and Michele Richardson. 

During his lifetime Michael proudly served his country in the National Guard. He also spent a lot of his time working on vehicles, and spending time with his loving family.

Relatives and Friends are invited to call at the Betz, Rossi, Bellinger Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010 on Friday April 26, 2019 from 1 to 2 PM. A celebration of his life will take place at the funeral home at 2 PM followed by a burial in the family plot of the Fairview Cemetery, Amsterdam.
