Obituary of Laurel "Lynn" Coon

Mrs. Laurel “Lynn” Coon, age 61, of St. Johnsville, formerly of Gloversville, passed away March 15, 2019 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, in Utica, NY.

 

She was born May 17, 1957 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Kenneth Bunn Sr. and Clara Graff Stuart. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all. Lynn will be remembered for how she would always express her love for everyone in all conversations with them.

Lynn was of the Baptist faith. Some of her favorite activities include Bingo and Fishing with her late husband Gerald.

 

She is survived by her two sons; Kenneth Hickok and Kevin Hickok (Terry), along with her brother Kenneth Bunn Jr. (Holly), and two sisters; Karen Insogna and Phyllis Lair (Joseph), her six grandchildren; Samantha, Cassandra, Amy, Kaitlin, Krystal and Kevin Jr. along with several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

 

In addition to both of her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Gerald J. Coon.

 

Keeping with Lynn’s wishes, there will be no formal calling hours or funeral services.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date and time to be announced.

 

Cremation to take place at Park View Cemetery Crematorium, Schenectady.
