Dearest John,Billy, & Family, What can I say! shock! We loved your dad soooooooooooooooo much!. Mom does not know. we can never tell her. we keep saying he is in rehab where Barry saw him &brought him the get well balloon. you're dad reminded me ,Roberta, so much of my dad, everyday telling me all the stories about the war. teaching me about what happened & always being so sweet to my mom, even in her decline. They met in the assisted living,Banyan for anyone that does not know. He was our family. always talking italian to each other & supporting each other everyday. My mom fell two months after Pepe fell, so they both went from being independent to needing assistant. they were called the King & Queen of the place, because they were both so sweet & Pepe told me that my mom brought humor to everyone . we will talk soon, but now, like you. I can not stop crying !

Dear John and Bill and Family;
Our sincerest sympathy and condolences to you and your family upon hearing of your fathers passing.
What a beautiful tribute to your father for all that he accomplished throughout his life. His love of family ,over 65 years together with your mom who also was the life of the party. So very proud of him for his military service and so deserving to be honored at his funeral. My memories will always bring me back to Christmas Eve when all of us gathered at Uncle Tony and Aunt Joanna's home . Everyone came. Your father was a true gentleman . My daughter, Kara, and your father share the same alumni having graduated from RPI. What a beautiful, heart warming tribute by cousin Elizabeth for your father.
I will always cherish the memories of our families, stopping at the restaurant and talking to Uncle Sam sitting in his favorite chair and Aunt Elizabeth who was such a loving person. Your father and mother came from next door.I truly miss all that.
Thankful to God for family and the many wonderful memories shared with the Pepe Family, our loving thoughts and prayers to you and your family at this most difficult time. God's Eternal Blessings for your father and God's Blessings to your family.

I am proud to say that John Pepe was my Godfather and one of the nicest people you could ever encounter. I spent a lot of time with Aunt Louise and him during my early college years. He took me up in his little two-seater plane once and I still cherish that memory. He lived a full life and made it to 96. My heart breaks knowing he is gone, but knowing he is no longer in pain and in God's hands with Mom, Aunt Louise and Uncle Sam will help us all heal. I will miss you, Uncle Johnny. Sending you and all the family my love.
