Obituary of George H. Carron

George H. Carron, 91, of Amsterdam passed away March 6, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was born in Currytown, NY on May 11, 1927, and is the son of the late Louis and Marie Carron.

During his lifetime George was a High School graduate of Canajoharie High School, and proudly served his country in the Army during WW II. George attended college in Glendale, California for Aeronautical Engineering, he also had his own plane, and loved to fly. He was retired from General Electric in Schenectady as a Machinist.

George is survived by his two brothers Maurice (Edie) Carron of Amsterdam, Edward Carron of the Town of Charleston.  A sister Emma Dugan of Colonie, and several nieces, and nephews.

George is predeceased by his parents, a brother Marcel Carron, and a sister Anna Reynolds.

A Burial will take place in the springtime with military honors at the Charleston 4 Corners Christian Church Cemetery.
