Dear Madeline and all your loved ones, This is Jane # 1 and family. Just heard of Arthur's passing when Rose called to let us know. So sorry but our lives are short compared to eternity. Hope things are going well enough for you and Judy & all the family. Paul said he'd been praying for Art lately - guess Our Heavenly Father likes to let us know when people need help. I didn't realize how young Art was when the lightning incident happened. He must have had a lot of determination all through his life. We always enjoyed your food at the Restaurant - the pea soup , the macaroni and cheese - and the tomato macaroni soup - were the best ! We try to copy some of these dishes at home. All the family is doing fairly well. John had his MRI done yesterday - no sign of the tumor or cancer - Praise the Lord ! his doses will be lessened now ( the chemo pills ) - he gets very fatigued a lot. But he still tries to stay busy at home. He will see the neurosurgeon tomorrow. You all are in our prayers and thoughts. We love you and miss you.

Although I didn’t know Mr. Miles, I wanted to take a moment to tell you what a beautiful and sincere obituary, very inspiring. What a wonderful, hard working man who didn’t let his loss of eyesight deter him from living what I’m sure was a wonderful life. With God in control, all things are possible. I’m so very sorry for your loss and may you be comforted with many wonderful memories

"92" years young. Meeting Grandpa Miles all those years ago was a blessing. For he was an inspiration for me as a man strong in his faith. Never allowing his affliction to keep him idle. His obit tells it all. The love and devotion he had for his wife Madeline is a rarity in today's society. He would always be deep within the table conversations. Life stories were unending. Family was top priority with He and his wife. Today I celebrate with great joy that he has now received his angel wings. Something he so deserves.
