Obituary of Ralph A. Walsh

      Ralph A. Walsh,  80, of Aylett, VA, originally of Amsterdam, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018.

     Born in Amsterdam, NY on May 14, 1938 the son of the late Ralph and Alice (Jennie) Walsh.  He attended local schools. 

     Ralph first worked in the farming industry and as a Truck Driver.  He later was the owner and operator of the Ralph A. Walsh Construction Company.    

      Ralph enjoyed the outdoors and camping but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

      In addition to his parents he is  preceded in death by his son, Joseph M. Walsh and 6 sisters and 4 brothers.

       He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Patricia M. Walsh; six children, Ralph Walsh (Debra Ebert), Lisa Gallo, Deborah Delgado, Cressandra Layne (Tony), Eddie Walsh (Karen) and Amanda Johnson.   15 grandchildren, Nicole, Trisha, Timothy, Adam Baumgaertel, Angela, Carly, Tony Gallo, Tashia Hennessay, Heather and Tiffany Walsh, Logan, Sheridan, Brady Layne, Lindsey Heller and Parker Overstreet and 19 great grandchildren; brother William Walsh; sisters, Laura Ann Zagata and  and Muriel Schlicht.  As well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

      Funeral Services will be held Tuesday January 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY.  Calling hours will be held prior to the funeral service in Amsterdam beginning at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Amsterdam,  Please leave condolences online at www.brbsfubneral.com
