Obituary of Caroline H. Walker

Caroline H. (DeRosier) Walker of Vail Mills, born April 12, 1944, entered her final sleep on December 20, 2018. She found peace, surrounded by her loving family. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She worked hard all her life, from the tobacco fields as a teen, to business owner of Emporium Auction Gallery and Blue Moon Motel. She was known for her generosity, baking skills and gardening.

Carol was predeceased by her husband, William Dale Walker. She leaves behind her mother, Viola Folsom; a daughter, Debora Ambrosino; two granddaughters, Jamie Sena and Cassandra Bayes; a great-grandson, Jayden Torres; several nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to mention. She also leaves behind a special family of caregivers, Michelle Van Husen, Bobbie Williams, Tonya Frasier and Pamela Bayes.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, December 26 at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St, Gloversville, where a funeral service will follow at 4:00 with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating.

Interment will take place in the spring at King Cemetery, Northampton.
