Obituary of Duane Francisco

     Mr. Duane A.  Francisco, 59, of Amsterdam, passed away on Sunday December 16, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam.

     He was born September 22, 1959 in Amsterdam, the son of  Richard Francisco and Delores Francisco Bilecki of Amsterdam.   He was a lifelong resident of Amsterdam and attended local schools.

     Duane was employed as a Roofer for many years for Jablonski Roofing Co. in Amsterdam.  He also worked for a time at Ward Products Co. in Amsterdam and Riley Moving Co.

  He enjoyed playing Darts and Pool  in the City Leagues.  He also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting,  fishing and especially barbecues.  

   Survivors include his Mother, Delores Francisco Bilecki of Amsterdam.    His companion, Candi L. Yager of Amsterdam.   Two children, Julian M. Francisco of Amsterdam and Christopher J. Francisco of Florida.   One brother, Richard (Mary Ellen) Francisco of Cobleskill, NY.   Two sisters, Debra (Fred) Coffey of Albany, NY and Darlene L. Ross of Amsterdam, NY.   Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. 

  Duane was predeceased by his father, Richard Francisco and a brother Darren Francisco.

     Funeral services will be held on Friday December 21, 2018 at 1:00PM at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam with Father presiding.  Cremation will be in Vale Cemetery Crematorium, Schenectady, NY.     Interment will be in Hagaman Mills Cemetery, Hagaman, NY.  The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday prior to the funeral service beginning at  12:00 Noon at the funeral home.
