Obituary of Luis Manuel Carrero

Luis Manuel Carrero, 62 years old, of Broadalbin NY, went to be with his lord after a long struggle with cancer on Tuesday, December 11th, 2018. Luis was surrounded by his loving family and passed away peacefully.

Born on November 18, 1956 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, He was the son of the late Juan & Christina Carrero. Luis’s strength, support and sense of humor are recognized and appreciated by close family members and friends. Luis loved fishing, playing poker, music and spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife Carol Carrero, his son’s Luis (Jamie) Carrero Jr of Amsterdam NY, Ricardo (Jennifer) Carrero of Worcester MA, Dominick (Nicole) Carrero of Lexington SC & Carlos (Katherine) Carrero of Broadalbin NY, 11 Grandchildren, Kayleigh Carrero, Gnia Tirado, Jaciano Carrero, Kamien Carrero, Kainen Carrero, Sophia Carrero, Max Carrero, Ella Carrero, Carson Carrero, Kennedy Carrero & Thomas LaBate Jr. Sister’s Isabelle Carrero, Malagros Carrero & brother Jose Carrero, nieces Elizabeth Carrero, Christina Carrero, Jackie Figueroa nephews Rafeal Carrero Jr, Joel Toress, Evangilista Negron as well as several more nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother’s Carlos Carrero, Rafeal Carrero Sr, Miguel Carrero Sr, Frank Carrero & sister Gloria Carrero. Nephews Robert (Bobby) Rodriguez, Juan (Punco) Carrero, Miguel Carrero Jr.

A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, December 17th, 2018 at 12pm at Betz, Rossi, & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010. The family will receive visitors from 10 – 11am prior to the service at the funeral home.
