Obituary of Lewis H. Buseck

Lewis Henry Buseck, age 53, passed away suddenly while at work in Auburn, NY on Saturday, November 17, 2018.

He was born in Gloversville, NY on March 29, 1965. Throughout his time on earth Lewis had a spirit and charisma that was larger than life. He developed many friendships and memories throughout his life wanderings. Lewis was a hard worker and the type of guy that would give the shirt off his back regardless of what he was going through. Lewis always felt his best legacy was his son Garriet whom he loved with all his big heart.

Lewis is predeceased by his father Wellington Buseck, stepfather Norm Lyon, and siblings Lawrence Buseck, Mike Briskie, John Briskie, Victoria Briskie and Lillian Lyon.

He is survived by his son Garriet-John Lewis Buseck-Fischer, his mother Rachel Lyon, stepmother Ileane Buseck, siblings Martha Buseck-Fischer, Teresa Lyon, Janet Postelwait, Cheryl Catanzaro, Pamela Gallup and Sandra Ostrander, and a multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and beloved cousins.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, November 24 at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St, Gloversville, where a Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Jane Newkirk officiating.

Interment will take place in the spring at Prospect Cemetery, Northville.
