Brian was my friend. Though I moved away from Perth many decades ago, when I spoke to others in states far away with stories of home or high school, the tales I told usually included Brian. He could be strong and bold (we played next to each other on the defensive line at Perth Central, so I saw the towering impact Brian could make) but I really admired the loving side of Brian as he looked out unwaveringly for his siblings. Brian, when we leave this world, the question always is, "what kind of person were you?" I have known you since sixth grade. You were a team player, a motivator, honest, fun, talented, and we who were close to you always knew you had our backs. See you someday buddy! Love, Howie Splittgerber

I give my deepest condolences to the family.
I know that times like this it is hard and we are in need of comfort, and the Bible can provide comfort for us. In Revelation chapter 21 verse 3 and 4 it says, “With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.The former things have passed away.” So the Bible promised that the true God will get rid of death and the pain that comes with it
