Joann,
Your beloved father contributed so much to the life of you and your extended family. I know how much he enjoyed getting together with you all from time to time to play cards and/or just to chat.
Not to mention his military service - doing his part to help keep us safe! Hope you can take comfort in knowing he and your other family members who have gone before (your sister) are safe with God - who loves us all without reservation and wants what is best for us - people everywhere; the health of the planet with all its creatures - so many of whom respond to God (I'm thinking of the ravens God sent to bring food to Elijah when he had to be in hiding from Queen Jezzabel..........

I give my deepest condolences to the family.
I know that times like this it is hard and we are in need of comfort, and the Bible can provide comfort for us. In Revelation chapter 21 verse 3 and 4 it says, “With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.The former things have passed away.” So the Bible promised that the true God will get rid of death and the pain that comes with it
