Obituary of Margaret Theresa Flint

     Margaret Theresa Flint, 88, of Fonda, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam with her loving family at her side.
     Born in Amsterdam, NY on June 26, 1930, a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret V. Haeley Knowlton. She was a lifelong area resident and was a graduate of St. Mary's Institute in Amsterdam.
Margaret was a homemaker and took care of her seven children. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Gloversville, NY.
     She was married 63 years to Harold Flint Sr. They were married on November 27, 1948. He passed away on April 5, 2012.
Survivors include her seven children, Harold "Jim" Flint Jr. and his wife Joelle of Gloversville, Kathleen Wadsworth and her husband Lyle of Fonda, Theresa Santos of Amsterdam, Thomas Flint and his wife Bobbie Jean of Fonda, Patricia Pavlus and her husband Bruce of Fonda, Margaret Albrecht and her husband Karl of Fonda and Mary Vandenabeele and her husband Pierre of Gloversville; one brother, David Knowlton of Tribes Hill, NY; 18 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Beside her husband, she was predeceased by three brothers, Thomas, Martin and Frances Knowlton.
      A graveside service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at 12:00 noon at Evergreen Cemetery, Sand Flats, Fonda, NY with the Rev. Peter Ellis presiding.
