Obituary of Robert Edward Lachowski

Robert Edward Lachowski, 68, of Amsterdam, NY, has gone to his eternal rest on Saturday, October 13, 2018.

Born on December, 4th, 1949, in Amsterdam, NY, he was the son of the late Edward and Josephine (Pilecki) Lachowski. Robert was a graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School. On April 15th, 1969 he bravely enlisted in the United States Navy to proudly serve our country. During his time, he earned a combat action ribbon, a Vietnam Service Medal, and a National Defense Service Medal. Robert spent many years as a farm hand for Creek Acres Farm located in Amsterdam. It was something he enjoyed doing very much. Robert is survived by several cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his beloved parents.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Capstone Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing for their dedicated and compassionate care during his time there.

Robert will be laid to rest at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville, NY 12871 at a later date.
