We are so sorry to hear about John. He was a great man who always made you laugh when you were with him! We both had the privilege to do some hunting with John and always enjoyed the annual white rabbit hunts at the club! He will be missed , prayers to family and friends during this difficult time.

It's with a heavy heart that I sit and write about John's passing. He was as strong as a bull on the outside and a teddy bear on the inside. He was a man's man. He was a mentor and a friend. Always the guy you wanted with you when you went through a door. We all laughed like fools together and cried together in bad times. And while I mourn his loss, I have to laugh when I think of the cast of characters that greeted him. I know they are all sitting back enjoying a cold one to welcome him home. See ya on the other side John.

John was very good to me when I first started working at the Sheriff's Office. His kindness was something that I will never forget. I have had few opportunities to see John and Pam since his retirement, but whenever I did see him he was always very supportive and had a big smile. You will be missed and forever respected. Remember seeing his K9 blazer around the valley while growing up. He was always a symbol of strength and as a young kid viewed him as larger than life. Many many fond memories of John. RIP Sir. Wishes to the family for comfort and peace knowing what a blessing he was to so many others.

I can still remember the first time we met and you hugged me and said take care of my little brother. Over the years we became not only in-laws but family and I always called you brother. You loved kidding me about being Italian and I would give it right back; it was the kidding only enjoyed by beloved family members. I will miss you and if you run into the rest of my Italian family in heaven they will welcome you with open arms.
