I remember Gene and my father Bob working together, going to auctions, and most importantly spending time and doing for the kids. Gene will always be in my memories, he was a very loved and respected man. My heart goes out to the family .

I can't say I was ever really significantly involved in Gene's life when I knew him, but when I did meet him, see him, and spend any degree of time with him, I can sincerely say he was a likable, charismatic guy. He was always welcoming to me and chummy with me as if I was a known friend or family member, really, even though we would typically only occasionally see each other at certain gatherings. From what I knew of Gene, I genuinely felt he had a good heart and was a man who meant well to others, and I absolutely know he had a lot of people who cared about him. My heart goes out to those who have lost this man in their life, especially his daughter, Amber, and his brother, Jim. We all surely have experienced loss in some form, but losing a loved one, especially so young at just 56 (yes, I actually do consider 56 young), is never easy to accept and endure. I will miss him, and I know others who knew him better than I will miss him a whole lot more, and I'm sorry to those who have to be without him, I really am. Life and death is so painful, but for Gene to move on past the suffering he was enduring is also something that comes with peace knowing he is at rest and no longer suffering. May we all see each other again in the next life...

Amber, Michael, David and family. We are very saddened by Gene's passing. He was a talented hard working man, was a great help in improving my property across the road and was always ready to give a hand without even asking. We cannot attend the services, as we are away in Italy. May God bless his soul and help you through this difficult time.
Al, Pam, Cia and Gio.
