To Debbie, my very dear friend, and to all of the family, please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. I didn't know Bill nearly as well as I know Debbie but I can certainly say he had a pretty good sense of humor, especially being known to me as "what's his name" for as long as I can remember. I will never forget his eye rolls. SMH.
Please take comfort in the fact that he is now not only with his beloved Nikki, but also free from the illness and pain that befell him here on earth and is once again whole, healthy and unencumbered. I wish I could have said goodbye to him but I am unable to travel and missed my chance. So... Bill? If you can see this, so long, safe travels and God speed.

Dear Debbie and sons and Ralph and Billie Lee,
My sincerest sympathy and condolences to you and your family upon hearing of Bill's passing. We shared so many wonderful times together. It seems so long ago but not really when you think back of the enjoyment of being young, no real responsibilities and great parents and the fun we had together. He often called me :Hank the Tank" and I was always ok with that . He had said that at my sisters wake.I did play football for GHS and was right guard making a way for our running backs, so it surely fit!!! His mom would take us to Fonda Speedway and pick us up at the court house every week.Loved stopping at the diner. He often helped his dad. I was their paper boy too and Mr. Stewart always gave me a a nice tip. Always was appreciative of that.His Mom gave me a real old typewriter when I was in college. I later returned it to Pete and Billie Lees' , at the old homestead on Montgomery Street.I loved the home on Washington Street. It was huge. Their family has always been in my prayers and will continue to be so. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this most difficult time. God's Eternal Blessings Bill and from one veteran to another who also served his country during the Vietnam War , Thankyou for your service.. May you rest in peace, but not good-bye Bill but until we meet again, my friend!!!
