Obituary of Ralph W. Cook
Ralph W. Cook age 86 of Amsterdam passed away August 21, 2018. He was born in Amsterdam on July 8, 1932, and is the son of the late Arthur and Mabel (Morley) Cook.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 yrs. Margaret J. (Oathout) Cook, one son Michael (Barbara) Cook of Baltimore, one daughter Laura E. Winslow of Gloversville, four grandchildren Jonathan Cook of Budapest Hungry, Barry Winslow Jr. of Amsterdam, Phillip (Sarah) Winslow of Baltimore, MD, and Emily Winslow of Gloversville. Two brothers David A. (Liz) Cook of NC, John R. Cook of Schenectady, and also by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides his parents he is predeceased by two sisters Louie B. Levandosky, and Muriel E. Papura.
During his lifetime he was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School in 1950, was employed by Niagara Mohawk as a Utility Planner until retirement in 1993. Attended Christ Episcopal Church of Ballston Spa. A board member and past president of the Mohawk Valley Chorus, and a member of the Niagara Mohawk 25 year club, and also a member of Amsterdam Singing Senior’s
Relatives and Friends are invited to call Monday August 27, 2018 from 10:30 to 11:30, with an 11:30 service to follow. After services there will be a fellowship lunch in the Hall. This will all take place at the Christ Episcopal Church, 15 West High Street, Ballston Spa, NY 12020
