Obituary of Valerie Syzdek

Mrs. Valerie K. Syzdek, 69, of Mason Avenue, Amsterdam died peacefully on Monday, August 20, 2018 following a brief illness.  Born in Amsterdam on March 17, 1949 she was the daughter of the late John and Anne Pawlowski Syzdek.

A lifelong area, Valerie attended local schools and worked for several years for Ward Products in Amsterdam until her retirement.  She was member of the former St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church and its Rosary Society.  

Survivors include her husband, Robert; and her son Benjamin; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Service of Remembrance will take place on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 10 o’clock at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam with the Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis officiating.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
