Obituary of Helen C. Pierce

Helen C. Pierce age 65 yrs. of Johnstown passed away August 13, 2018 at Albany Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Born in Amsterdam NY on August 30, 1952 she is the daughter of the late John F. and Shirley J. (Lavender) Quinn.

Relatives and Friends are invited to call at the Betz, Rossi, Bellinger Family Funeral Homes, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010  on Tuesday August 21, 2018 from 4 to 6 PM with a 6 PM service at the funeral home with Fr. O.Robert DeMartinis Pastor of St. Stanislaus Church, Amsterdam, NY Officiating.

She is survived by her husband Richard Pierce Sr. of Johnstown, her daughter Bobbie Jo (Ken Merchant) Sullivan of Greenfield Center, a son Albert and Fiance` (Tammy Greenough) Hunt of Gloversville.  Her step children Jeanette (Vincent) Oare of Gloversville, and Richard (Melissa) Pierce Jr. of  Tennessee. She is also survived by her sister Mary D. Smith of Mayfield, her grandchildren Robert, Katelyn, John, Nadia, Kai, Kayla, Victoria, Emmy, Nicole, Emmilee, Tori, Austin, Alison, Brittany, Gavin, and Maci. Also by four great grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

During her lifetime she worked for Logical Net in Schenectady, NY,  and enjoyed spending time with her family.

In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
