Obituary of Kenneth W. Lansburg

Kenneth W. Lansburg age 82 of Broadalbin passed away August 7, 2018 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Amsterdam, NY on May 28, 1936, and is the son of the late William and Elizabeth (Beatty) Lansburg.

Kenneth's wishes were for a cremation with no services and burial next to his wife Joyce A. Lansburg who passed away on October 17, 2014 in the Hagaman Cemetery.

He is survived by his two sons Douglas Lansburg, and Kenneth (Michelle) Lansburg both of St. Johnsville. A sister-in-law, Carol (Charles) Humphrey of Broadalbin, and four grandchildren Jed (Carly) Lansburg, Elizabeth (Daylen) Lathers, Tucker (Erin Murphy) Lansburg, and Kristen Lansburg. Also by a great grandchild,  Carson Lansburg.

During his lifetime he was employed by Contel in Johnstown, where he worked as a cable splicer for many years. He also enjoyed fox hounds, and for years raised grey hounds. He was also  an avid deer hunter.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Betz, Rossi, Bellinger Family Funeral Homes, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Kenneth’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
