Sal was my mentor and true friend as well as my protector. He took me under his wing and made me the best Mason I am today. I will always treasure his memory. I keep him alive and tell everyone who taught me in life. Sal was it 100%

Only yesterday did I learn of Sal’s passing. I met Sal years ago at the “Y” and we became friends...sharing similar opinions about politics and conservative values. After moving to Florida, we lost contact. But i’ve thought of him often...and will continue to do so. May God bless and comfort his family and friends. And may Sal have eternal peace in the House of the Lord.

Dear Zarrelli family,
I lived across the street from you on 3 rd Ave. My house burned to the ground on a cold December morning while I was at FMCC studying nursing. Your entire Family was so kind to me and my girls. We had so much trouble finding a person to take the remains down and Sal came to our rescue. he not only found them but a price that was affordable. I was always grateful for your family kindness during that difficult time. I moved away and went into Army and told my story about your kind family. I was so sorry to read of his passing. Someday I hope to run into him again and play a mean game of bocces. I am truly sorry for your loss. God has a special place for him.

This is one of the best written obituaries I’ve ever read and perfectly describes my dear old friend. I can still hear him yelling, Mud!, Mud!!!!
What a great guy, I will never forget how strong he was and how much of a perfectionist he was about his work. He and I had great appreciation for hard working people and respected each other very much....

Tony and family;
I'm so very sorry for your father's passing, I have great memories of the times spent at picnics and get togethers shortly after my family came from Italy.
Salvatore was an exceptional human being making everyone in his presence feel special, my father truly loved him, hopefully they are sharing a game of bocce in heaven.
I am honored and blessed to have known your father. He was truly a blessing in everyone's life and I will miss him. My condolences.
