To the Cangiano Family;
My sincerest sympathy and condolences to your family upon hearing of Joans passing!!! She was my 4th grade teacher at Park Terrace. She once had me play a King in a play, I played my accordian in her class once and not intentionally while she sat in the bleechers with Ms. Subik I hit her when I kicked the ball during kickball. I still remember to this day, her saying only Henry. Our Godmother Lena(Congiano) Caraco loaned me her beautiful white fur when I played the King. The Congiano Family lived on Eagle Street just behind our house. I remember her husband living on Steele Avenue for a while. I did many chores for Lena's mom and Lena and Rudy were our Confirmation sponsors. I stopped to see Joan when she was at the house on route 29, the house with the pond.I took my daughter with me. It was so nice to see her after all the years had passed. Wonderful teacher, wonderful person. I am so glad to have been part of her life. So sorry for your loss. God's Eternal Blessings to Joan, may she rest in peace!!!

So very sad to hear of Joan's passing. She was a great friend to my parents and I remember spending time with her and Vince at their beautiful home in Johnstown. Ezzy always had a smile on her face and kind words to say. I'm sure she was greeted in Heaven by Vince and all her friends who have passed. May she rest in peace and may the memories of the good times prevail in our hearts until we are all joined together. Until then, peace and love to all Joan's family and friends.

Mrs. C was my teacher at Park Terrace. She was one that left an impression on me. Later on in life whenever she would see me she would ask about my brothers and sisters, there were 8 of us and she had all of us. Sleep easy Mrs. C, job well done.

God must have needed a teacher in heaven for his little angels, so he called the best teacher he knew of home. Mrs. Cangiano was my teacher at Park Terrace School and helped me become the person that I am today.
She always met everyone with a big smile, and asked how they were. She will be missed by all who knew her.
I am sure that everyone has many happy memories that will give them strength and comfort during this time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Bill, Marj (Rumrill) and Abby Jones
