Obituary of Leslie A. Dynes

Miss Leslie A. Dynes, 65, of Amsterdam, NY died suddenly on July 12, 2018.  Born in Amsterdam, NY she was the daughter of the late Howard and Margaret McCrum Dynes.

A lifelong area resident, Leslie attended local schools and was a graduate of several local colleges.  Leslie was employed by Liberty for several years as a teacher’s assistant and was an active member of the United Presbyterian Church.  Leslie will be remembered for being a gentle soul who loved her faith, her church and her family.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include goddaughter, Shayla Sahler; dear friends David and Rochelle Sahler; cousins and her church family.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 11a.m. at the United Presbyterian Church, 25 Church Street, Amsterdam, NY.  A calling hour will precede the funeral beginning at 10a.m. at the church.  Burial will take place in the family plot in Hagaman Mills Cemetery.
