Obituary of Isidore Cohen

Isidore "Izzy" Cohen, age 93, of Gloversville, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, July 6, 2018 at his home surrounded by his Lexington family.

He was born May 17, 1925 in New York City, the son of David and Emma Gusser Cohen.

Izzy was a peaceful, mild-mannered gentleman who made friends anywhere he went. He was an avid collector of Matchbox Model Cars. He enjoyed anything to do with music.

He is survived by his Lexington family and his close friends Jack and Tony.

A graveside service take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 9 at Knesseth Israel Cemetery, Clyde St; Gloversville, with Suzanne R. Schermerhorn officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Lexington Foundation, 465 North Perry St; Johnstown, NY 12095.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville.
