Obituary of Darlene M. Beddig

Darlene M. Beddig, age 53 yrs. of  Fultonville, NY,  passed away July 3, 2018 with her loving family by her side at the River Ridge Living Center, Amsterdam, NY.

She was born July 21, 1964 in Amsterdam, the daughter of the late Herman and Lucille (Lewandowski) Beddig. Darlene was a lifelong resident of Fultonville, and she graduated from the Fonda- Fultonville High School Class of 1984. She worked for many years on the Beddig Family Farm on Argersinger Road until she was employed by Walmart of Gloversville for 25 years. She enjoyed shopping, watching movies and reading. 

Darlene is survived by her brother, William "Bill" Beddig of Fultonville, her sister, Melissa "Missy" (Dale) Furman of Fultonville; her sister-in-law, Audra A. Beddig of Fultonville; nephews and nieces, Gunners Mate First Class Petty Officer United States Navy Richard J. Furman,  Hailey Q. Beddig, William P. Furman, Chloee M. Beddig and McKenna S. Beddig; her Uncle Donald Brakett and several cousins, nieces, nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday July 9, 2018  from 4 PM to 7 PM at the  Jackson & Betz Family Funeral Homes, 15 Main St, Fultonville, NY 12072. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Chuck Hesselink  officiating. Interment will take in the family plot at the Maple Avenue Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Community Hospice of Amsterdam, 246 Manny's Corners Road, Amsterdam, NY 12010 or to the Glen Volunteer Fire Department, 134 Auresville Road, Fultonville, NY 12072.
