Obituary of Marilyn Anita Novak
Marilyn Anita Novak, 80, peacefully entered eternal life on Monday, April 16, 2018, at Durham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Marilyn was born in Amsterdam, NY and resided in Cary, NC for the past 13 ½ years. She is the daughter of the late Clarence Blinsinger and Sally Sargalis Blinsinger.
Marilyn loved God and the Catholic Church. The camp her family had on Galway Lake in NY was a special place for all of her life. Her high school friends were always dear to her, as were all of the people she met along her journey of life.
Marilyn was crazy about all types of crafts and would always be knitting or crocheting something for someone. Her TV was almost always on a sports channel, home improvement or cooking channel. She loved music, gardening, birds, nature, flowers and animals. Her latest fun projects involved coloring books using colored pencils and making jewelry. You would never go hungry if you visited Marilyn ~ she was a great cook. She made a home a home.
Marilyn was very active at the Morrisville, Cary and Apex Senior Centers in NC. If there was a game or a trip on the calendar, she was taking part.
