Obituary of Marion G. Sands

Marion G. Sands, age 66, of Johnstown, passed away Wednesday evening, June 27, 2018 at St. Johnsville Nursing Home. She is now resting peacefully after battling a long illness.

She was born February 18, 1952 in Camden, NJ; the daughter of Ralph and Virginia Wilder Cline. She was employed at St. Thomas Inc. for many years. She also sold Avon products and was a bartender at Sunset Lanes. She retired recently as a dispatcher at Express Taxi.

Marion is survived by two sons, Craig Ambrosino Sr. (Rachael Wilson) of Gloversville and David "D.G." Ambrosino Jr. (Amy) of Johnstown; a step-daughter, Sandra DeGregorio of PA; seven sisters and brothers, Jackie Swenson, Sharon Tyrell, Kathy Cline, Robert Cline, Donald Cline, Janice Cline and Dollen Teal; 11 grandchildren, Kayla Muscato, Mariah Morey, Craig Ambrosino, Shali Ambrosino, Christa Ambrosino, Christina Wilson, Timothy Wilson, Kayla Wilson, David Ambrosino, III, Alura Ambrosino and Aislinn Ambrosino; five great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest J. Sands; her brother-in-law, Ronald Swenson; and her parents.

A Celebration of Marion's Life will take place at a later date.
