Obituary of David Ambrosino, Sr.
Mr. David G. Ambrosino, Sr., 67, of Johnstown, NY died suddenly on Sunday, June 24, 2018 surrounded by his family at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Gloversville, New York he was the son of the late James and Rose Peters Ambrosino.
A lifelong area resident, David graduated from Gloversville High School in 1969. He was employed as a police officer with the Gloversville Police Department and later retired as an Investigator with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office after more than 20 years of public service. He enjoyed bowling and was the manager of Sunset Bowling Center for many years. David loved being with family and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Tina Lauria Ambrosino; his children, Craig Ambrosino (Rachel Wilson), “DG” Ambrosino, Jr. and his wife Amy, Caprice Mihalik and her husband Adam, Brandon Ambrosino and his wife Amanda; three siblings, Loretta Malagisi and her husband Frank, Raymond Ambrosino and Larry Ambrosino and his wife Karen; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Ferndale Cemetery.
