I met Alyssa, through her husband Ryan Williams, one of my best friends. I was not lucky enough to know her as long as others, but I am truly blessed to be touched by her loving spirit. From the moment Ryan introduced me to her, I understood why he had fallen head over heels. Her strength and brightness was contagious, and she met adversity with elegance and grace. I am so sorry to read about Alyssa's passing in the Leader-Herald. Please accept our condolences and know we are thinking of the whole Sardelli Family. I have been following the face book postings on her journey. She was a beautiful bride and one hellava fighter. Even though we moved away 19 years ago we think of all the great neighbors we had on West State Street.

I met Alyssa through fb Beachbody, I never got the chance to meet her in person but I could see how wonderful she was just by following her. When she found her first lump, I was devastated for her but through following her journey quickly realized how amazingly graceful and strong she was and continued to be even through her last fight with cancer❤️. Alyssa was a true inspiration to so many women going through the same fight as her and to all women. I’m so glad that God gave her that time to meet and fall in love with the man of her dreams, Ryan❤️. Watching their wedding through pictures and videos was like watching a fairytale. You could just feel the love between them both and their family and friends. My prayers go to her husband and family for peace while they manage through life without her physically but I know she will be with them always❤️. Rest In Peace Alyssa❤️

My heart goes out to Ryan and to her family. I know on how it is to lose a member of the family or a love one. I know she was to young to die.she deserved to live a long life with you both. I had met Alyssa a long time ago when I first met her .when I started working at rite aid and was new to the area.she made me felt welcomed. It was a joy going into work and saying hi to her and talk about school. I hate to say she is in a better place now pain free and now heaven has a another angel.

Sue and family, my heart breaks for your loss. I remember always talking about how good our girls were doing and how lucky we were to have such great kids. What you don't know is that Alyssa was my inspiration. On days when I was feeling so sick from treatments, I would pull her page up and tell myself, if this beautiful young lady can handle this, I can too. Just know she has touched me and inspired me without even knowing. GOD bless your family.

I was devastated to hear the cancer actually took Alyssa. I assumed she would be the 1 in 9,999,999 that makes a total recovery. She was a beautiful ray of light that it was truly an honor to know. She loved my little boys and especially that I taught them her name was cheese. I will always remember when she came to work and confided in me that she found a lump and was going to the Dr for a biopsy. She said she wasn't worried because of the family history of benign cysts, but you could see it in her eyes. Not long after she found out the truth... and at the same time started telling these stories about the guy who came over to her apartment to cook for her. My eyebrows shot up into my hair as I looked at her in disbelief that she let a strange man into her home, especially while she was vulnerable. But that's what made alyssa such a bright light, she was brave at just the right times. Turns out Tinder and her courage lead her exactly to where she needed to be, with Ryan. I'm so glad he was there to help her through all of this and I am so devastated for him. I know Ryan and the family will hold each other up for the rest of their lives and I'm glad you have each other. As I think of the ridiculousmy funny things she used to do, I will post them in hopes of giving any of us who are grieving a laugh. Rest in Peace Alyssa, it was an honor and a privilege.

What a beautiful woman whose aura could be felt without having to ever meet her. It’s no wonder that she is an Angel now, where once it seems she was an Angel on earth. I saw so many posts on Facebook from people who had never met Alyssa, but who spoke about how inspired they were by her courage and strength, including myself. She helped me during a very difficult time. She gave me the strength to view my cancer not as something that was going to take me over, on the contrary, I was going to live, believe and win!
