Obituary of Eleanor M. Johnson

          Mrs. Eleanor M. Johnson ,  81 , of Gloversville  , New York  passed away Saturday  May 26, 2018  at Nathan Littauer Hospital,   Gloversville , New York .

     Born in Gloversville, NY on June 8, 1936 a daughter of the late Robert and Myrtle Knapp Buyce.

She was a lifelong area resident and attended Gloversville schools.

     Eleanor was employed as a cashier for many years.  She worked for a time at the former Nichols Department Store and later Wal-Mart in Gloversville. 

     She enjoyed sewing, wall papering, word search puzzles and spending time with her children and family.   She married Floyd Johnson who passed away in 2000. 

Survivors include her children, Carrie Moxham of Gloversville,NY, David Johnson of Stratford, NY, Dale Johnson of Stratford, NY and Dwayne Johnson of Fonda,  NY.    One brother, Hugh Buyce of Johnstown, NY and a sister Elsie Floyd of Gloversville, NY.   She is also survived by her best friend Screech the Chihuahua. 

Eleanor was pre-deceased by a dear son Daniel Johnson in July of 2010 and siblings, George, Bernie, Marion, Joyce and Helen.  Cherished grandchildren, Chance Moxham, Dale Johnson Jr., Kristy Klem, Shelly Johnson, Nicole Johnson and Zachary Johnson,  Several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
