Obituary of Gerold Baneth

Gerold Baneth age 76yrs of Amsterdam passed away January 17, 2018 with his loving family by his side. He was born April 20, 1941 in Queens, NY, and is the son of the late Gerald L. and Dorothy (Albach) Baneth. He is survived by his loving wife Pamela R. (Billington) Baneth. Children Heidi M. (Frank Lowe) Parks of Amsterdam, Lonna A. (Scott) Bevins of Amsterdam, Sandy (Patrick) Brand of Kissimmee Fl., Sabrina (Jason) Fuller of Duanesburg, and Bryan J. Edgar of Amsterdam. Grandchildren Bryan, Steven, Gabriella, Brittany, Jeffrey, Christopher, Scotty, and Rachel. Great Grandchildren Ayden, Talia, Emma, Ava, and Chloe. Also by his Grand Dogs Tamara, Bella, and Boa, and Marci. Besides his parents Jerry is also predeceased by a brother Gabriel Baneth. During his lifetime he was employed by General Electric for 31 years. He was a former volunteer for Gavac, Past President of the New Wave Cruisers Car Club of Amsterdam. He loved going to car shows, and is an avid fisherman. Relatives and Friends are invited to call at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam NY 12010 on Monday January 22, 2018 from 4 to 7 pm with a 7 pm Memorial Service. Jerry's family would especially like to thank the nurses, doctors, and the rest of the staff at Ellis Hospital ICU for their care and compassion.
