Obituary of Milton A. Becker
Milton A. Becker, 64, of Fultonville, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at St. Mary's Hospital with his loving family at his side.
Born on December 19, 1951 in Cooperstown, he was a son of the late Archie and Kay Kraft Becker. Milton was a lifelong resident of the area, graduating from Fonda Fultonville Central School. Milton worked various jobs, including, farming, carpentry, mechanic and a plumber. His most important job was caring for his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend; he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
On March 9, 1972, Milton married his loving wife, Mary Anne Green Becker, who passed away on October 26, 2011. They shared a beautiful union of 39 years.
Survivors include his daughters, Laurie (David), Missy (Chuck) and Penny (Rick); sons, Milton and Danny; brother, Jimmy (Cindy); sisters, Barbara and Tricia; grandchildren, Sandy, Marky, Joshua, Zachary, Kaleb, Charles, David, Kaytie, Kaylee, Danny, Daniel, Michael, Tomas, Jordan, Dillian and Giavonna; great-grandchildren, Leon, Abbey, Landon, as well as another soon be to great-granddaughter; niece, Hannah and nephew, Timmy. Besides his parents, Milton is predeceased by his brother, Howie and grandson, Brandon.
A heartfelt thank you to all the nursing staff and doctors at St. Mary's Hospital, especially Dr. Pizarro, for take the time to keep a close eye on our dad. Also another very special thanks to his home nursing staff from CHC, they helped keep dad healthy and independent enough to live at home.
Funeral service for Milton will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam with Dr. Rev. R.W. Williams presiding. The family will receive family and friends prior to the service starting at 10 a.m.
