Obituary of Raymond J. Brundige

Mr. Raymond J. Brundige, age 60, of Johnstown, died peacefully at his home on April 14, 2016. He was born November 19, 1955 in Gloversville, the son of the late Fred and Beverly Beaulieu Brundige. A 1974 graduate of Gloversville High School, he later worked as a self-employed Master Flooring Installer. Ray loved nature and enjoyed the outdoors. He also loved his pet cat and dog and was an avid New York Giants football fan. He also routinely displayed a uniquely positive outlook on life. He is survived by his partner of over 34 years, Judith A. Empey of Johnstown; his daughter, Dana Marie of Galway; two grandchildren, Deacon Gilbert Cross and Lillian Adoline Cross; a brother, Fred Brundige Jr. (Mary) of Rochester; a sister, Lori Gallagher (John Biggey) of Mayfield; a niece, Shawna and two nephews, Michael and Joseph. The family will receive relatives and friends from 1 to 3:00 pm Tuesday, April 19th at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville. Cremation took place at Parkview Cemetery Crematorium, Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the James A.
