Memories of children at play
At Grandma's
Seems like only yesterday.
Memories of you and I,

Running and jumping and riding our bikes

What were we thinking?
But tons of fun, as long as there was no sinking!

To all the Van Der Veer Family,
I was shocked to read of the passing of Billy. I remember all the family well as they were a Friday Night Fights fixture when I was growing up. Their Mom and Dad would always be at our house for the Friday Night Fights and remember playing with Billy and Danny. I also remember him well from school, and have great memories of him.
May God grant all of you peace at this difficult time, may he send his devine blessings to all, help you through this very sad time in your lives.

I'm sorry to hear of Billy's passing. Although our paths didn't cross in recent years, our families were very close when we were kids. We spent many summer vacations together in Canada, fishing and swimming and being very silly. Good memories.
