I have spoke of Dottie many times in the past couple of years. She was my roommate at River Ridge in July of 2015. She was a lovely lady to room with, share our meals with in the dining room. Dottie is loved and will be missed by so many. A memory? One night as we were both in our beds for the night, Dottie saw a dog jump up on her bed and was frightened. She yelled for the dog to get off, I hurried to my wheel chair, clicked for the nurse, and then started to remove the dog. Dottie said be careful, he might hurt you. As I proceeded to chase the dog out and down the hall, I let Dottie know that he was out. As I spoke to her, to calm her down, a nurse appeared . I said :: Nurse, do you see the dog going down the hall away from us. She let Dottie know that all was safe now. The nurse and I agreed that Dottie had quite the dream. This is the one memory that will be with me forever and I gladly share it with you all.
