Gibby. You always had a smile for me. I remember when I interviewed and we spoke in the driver's room in Albany. I was nervous, but you put me at ease. Gone too soon, but not forgotten. Rest easy my friend.

Jan and Gilberts family
So sorry to read about Gilbert's untimely passing. I knew him since he was a small boy
as I used to prepare his mother's income taxes and then his. It was always a good day when I seen him either at tax season or at the travel agency in the mall. We shared many laughs together and he will be surely missed by all.

I used to bowl with Gibby at Skyview lanes when we were kids. Over the years, I'd run into him from time to time and stop to talk. Seeing him always brought back nice memories.

Jan : I remember when "Gibby" was in our wedding (Nov. 10,1973). If memory serves me correctly that is the day he met you at Crystal Bar, still dressed in his tux. Your relationship with Gib lasted longer than my marriage. Had a few laughs when Gib was "practicing " "walking down the aisle" in our driveway. Yes, he was always full of laughter and looked on the bright side of life. I am sorry for your loss and sorry that I have not seen him in several years. When I lived on 67 and went pass his house I would stop to say "Hello" if he was outside. He always spoke highly of you. So close to retirement, what a sad day that he never had an opportunity to enjoy his "golden years". Wishing you strength that God helps you heal your broken heart. Pat Anderson

You were a sensational guy, Gibby. I'll miss you. Keep that bus shiny side up and greasy side down up there. I know you will. You were the best. Rest In Peace.
