Obituary of Francis W. Pacillo

Mr. Francis W. "Frankie" Pacillo, age 59, a lifelong Amsterdam resident, passed away on Wednesday evening, October 12, 2016 at St. Mary's Healthcare, Amsterdam in the presence of his family. He was born on Nov. 3, 1956 in Amsterdam, son of the late Michael and Myrtle (Waterbury) Pacillo and graduated with the Amsterdam High School "Class of 1975". He was employed for over 25 years with the Sampson Cab Company, Amsterdam. In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing, playing cards, scratch offs and watching the Dallas Cowboys. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather by this three daughters, Carrie Pacillo Staley of Amsterdam, Bonnie Rosa of Cleveland, OH and Tonya Pacillo of Amsterdam; siblings, Dottie LaPorte, Sharon Griffin, Michael Pacillo, Edwin Pacillo and Andy Pacillo and wife Nelda; a sister in law, Diane Pacillo of Auburn, NY; cherished grandchildren, Robert, Isabella, Chelsea, Marky, Meghan, Carol and Natasha; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother Dale F. Pacillo in July of 2014. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a graveside service at Fultonville Cemetery, Fultonville, NY commencing at 11:00 am on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016 with the Rev. Clyde Clymer of the Step of Faith Church, Amsterdam, officiating. There are no calling hours.
