Obituary of Raymond W. German

Mr. Raymond W. German, 80, of Sloane Avenue, Amsterdam died suddenly on Friday, October 14, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital, with his wife by his side. Born in Elmira, NY he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth White German. Ray was employed for over 25 years for the Cady Company. Her served proudly with the United States Army and was honorably discharge as a Corporal. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joan McGillin German; one daughter, Colleen Young; and four grandchildren, Robert, Jeffrey, Danielle and Matthew. At Ray's request there will be no formal services. He gave selflessly to the Anatomical Gift Program at Albany Medical Center.
