Obituary of Randy Paul Bornt
Randy Paul Bornt, 50, Town of Florida, passed away suddenly Monday, October 17, 2016 with his loving family by his side.
Born October 26, 1965 in Amsterdam, he was a son of Kathryn Potts and the late Floyd Bornt. A lifelong resident of the area, Randy was a 1983 graduate of Amsterdam High School.
On January 26, 1991 Randy married his loving wife, the late Renee A. Pachucki, it was a loving union that lasted 19 years until her passing on November 14, 2010. Together they proudly owned and operated RPB Trucking for 30 years. Randy was a 3rd generation truck driver following in his fathers footsteps, who owned Bornt Trucking. Randy was the best mechanic you'd ever find, being able to fix anything that was broken. Randy will always be remembered by "I've got more miles going backwards than you do forward."
Randy recently worked for both Hill & Markes Inc and William Larned & Sons Trucking. To Randy the most important priority to him was his family, from Saturday morning cartoons to Sunday mechanic shows. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend; he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his loving family, daughters, Rosemary Persons (Eric), Rebecca Bornt (Curtis M. Bradshaw) and Rachel Bornt (Zach Nelson); siblings, Darlene, William "Billy", Butch, Dave, Todd "Mick", Scott, Shawn and Tammy Bornt-Holland; precious granddaughters, Leah and Lindsay Persons. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services to celebrate Randy's life will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 7pm at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam. Family and Friends may visit from 4pm until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
