Obituary of William S. Keefe

William S. "Bud" Keefe, 54, of Mayfield passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 29, 2016. Born December 28, 1961 in Pomona, CA, he was the son of Geraldine Willis Keefe and the late John Keefe. William worked in the culinary industry for over 30 years as a Sous Chef at the C & R Restaurant in Galway and at Union Hall Inn in Johnstown. William loved the outdoors and looked forward to this time of year when he could go hunting, fishing and spend time at his hunting camp in Mayfield. He also enjoyed spending time researching his family history and genealogy. Survivors include his mother Geraldine "Geri" Keefe of Mayfield. He is predeceased by his father John Keefe and his brother Richard Keefe. At the family's request there will be no calling hours. Burial at Mayfield Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in William's memory to the Mayfield Volunteer Fire Department, 28 N School St, Mayfield, NY 12117.
