Obituary of Henry F. Wojcik
Mr. Henry F. ?Hank? Wojcik, age 66 of Petoff Garden Apartments, Broadalbin, died Saturday evening, December 10, 2005 at St. Mary's Hospital, Amsterdam.
He was born May 25, 1939 in Hagaman, NY, the son of the late Peter and Mary Wyzykowski Wojcik. Educated in Amsterdam schools, he served in the Army Corp of Engineers from 1960 to 1963, mainly in Greenland. Hank was employed for many years by the former Montgomery County Infirmary, Amsterdam.
Mr. Wojcik is survived by four sons, Michael Wojcik of Columbus, OH, Mark Wojcik of Denver, CO, Tim Wojcik of Amsterdam and Brian Wojcik of Baltimore, MD; a brother, Ted Wojcik of Chesterfield Shores, MI; five sisters, Helen Jensen, Josephine Zanella and Frances Jordan of Amsterdam, Anna Wojcik of Hagaman and Mary Herba of Broadalbin; three grandchildren, several nieces and nepehws. His brother Stanley ?Steve? Wojcik died several weeks ago.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday at Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main St; Fultonville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Thursday at St. Joseph's Church, Broadalbin. The Rev. Robert W. Powhida will be the celebrant. Interment will take place at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 3704, Memphis, TN 38103.
