Obituary of Mildred D. Quill

Mildred D. Quill, 89, of Church Street, Hagaman, passed away peacefully Sunday morning at St. Mary?s Hospital with her family at her side. Born in Amsterdam on December 15, 1916, she was the only child of Ray and Ada Lansburg Allen; she lived in this area her entire life. Years ago, Mildred worked as a sales associate for the former Luries Department Store in Amsterdam. She was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. In recent years, she enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mildred was a member of the Hagaman United Methodist Church. She and her husband Carmin celebrated their sixty-ninth wedding anniversary on Christmas Day. In addition to her beloved husband, her loving family includes her son, Wayne Quill of Schenectady; her granddaughter, Nicole Weinstein of Ballston Spa; grandson, Benjamin Quill of Schenectady and two great grandchildren, Delia and Samuel Weinstein of Ballston Spa. A service will take place Wednesday evening at 7:00pm at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue. The Rev. Cynthia Leonard officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call from 5pm until the time of the service. Interment will take place Thursday morning at the convenience of the family in Hagaman Mills Cemetery.
