Obituary of Clara C. Wozniak Boroski
Clara C. Wozniak Boroski, 84, formerly of Hagaman, New York and most recently a resident of Devoe Dr., Albany, passed away Tuesday evening January 10, 2006 at St. Peter?s Hospital in Albany after a brief illness.
Born in Amsterdam, New York on December 23, 1921, a daughter of Franciszek and Anna Migut Wozniak. She lived her entire life in Amsterdam. She was a 1936 graduate of St. Stanislaus Elementary School and a 1940 graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School in Amsterdam.
In her early years she worked at the General Electric Company in Schenectady. She later worked for the Amsterdam Printing and Litho Co. and lastly worked at the former Almor Company in Amsterdam. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies? Rosary Society.
She was predeceased by her husband John on May 17, 2005.
Her loving family includes her daughter, Sandra A. Juliano of Albany, New York; her son, James W. Boroski and his wife Nancy of Canajoharie, New York; eight grandchildren, Jeffrey and his wife Lisa Juliano of Albany, Jason Juliano of Albany, Elizabeth A. Boroski, Brenda B. Boroski, Robert Boroski, Bonnie Boroski, Kimberly Boroski and Kenneth Boroski all of Canajoharie, New York; nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Clara was pre-deceased by her brother, the Rev. Father Clement A. Wozniak, and sisters, Adele Jabczanka, Sophie Andrzejewski and Freida Orleanski Cionek and a stepsister, Mary Piska.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 14, 2005 at 8:15AM at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, Inc. 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00AM at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, Cornell St., Amsterdam with Father David Mickiewicz as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Amsterdam. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, January 13, 2006 from 4-7PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus Church, 44 Cornell St., Amsterdam, New York 12010. The Rosary Society will begin the Rosary at 3:45PM on Friday at the funeral home.
