David was in boy scouts through the Gloversville JCC and served in a leadership role to me and my friends who were one year younger. He introduced me to cigarettes after one scout meeting, which was fine because that experienced helped me decide never to take up smoking. I spoke with him for a while after high holiday services this past October. I knew he wasn't feeling well, but he was there and in good spirits. He talked about his teaching with great pride, especially how his students were learning about life from his illness. His presence in the community will be greatly missed. My condolenses to his family and friends.

So sorry to hear about about your loss of Dave. I knew him well as we worked together at Coleco Industries for Alouette Rec. products. He called me aoi-wie when ever we would run into each other. He also gave me my first and only dreidel. It has been many years. since I saw him,I believe it was at FMCC as I graduated from there in 1976. I think of Dave every once in a while. We enjoyed many trips together while with Alouette. I raced the snow machines while he promoted them.

I'm sorry I couldn't see you tonight to personally tell you how much Dave meant to my entire family. However, I needed to let you know from the whole Husain family how truly sorry we are for your loss. My Mom is in the Netherlands right now or she would be directly in touch with you. Dave was a special and unique person who always came up with new and unusual ways to make you smile. I know we haven't been in touch lately but now and then I would run into Dave at the grocery store. The last time we talked he was the M.C. at the GHS Donkey Basketball Game no big surprise there, right. He was his normal nutty self, up to his usual antics. My eight year old couldn't figure out what to take seriously, if anything. She reminds me of you, Lexie, big blue eyes and blonde curly hair. Seth and Alexis, I just don't know what to say, both of your parents were so wonderful to our family through some very difficult times, although the fun we had in good times was much better. I miss having them both around so much and I know you must, too.
I hope all of you can find peace. I know how difficult losing someone you love to this disease is, but I am sure that Dave is better place right now. I hope we can catch up one of these days.
By the way, if Dave hadn't taken the job in Alabama, I would never have met my ex-husband and I wouldn't have the four lovelysometimes kids I do have. Take Care.
Love, Jeannette

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. As you know, he played a big part in my life before and after my father'sStan Cameronpassing. He was in so many ways, a second dad to me. I will never forget after my father's passing he bought me a Burger King playhouse. He made sure I knew he was there whenever I needed him. In high school I got to work with him on different projects like the yearbook. I played in the Donkey Basketball games and he loved it when I would miss a shot and/or had to clean up after my donkey, haha, making fun of me. It was always nice to know he watched over me. He talked about you all the time, so very proud of you! Please know that you and your family are in my prayers.
