Having spent countless hours/days/years in the Boswell household while growing up in the 60's and with Chris as my very best friend, I have such fond memories of "Mrs. Boswell". She was the quintessential "Betty Crocker" mother and housewife of that generation. I will always remember the fresh smell of her ironing with the "mangle" iron, consistently being invited for steak and french fries dinnermy favorite, foil lined boxes filled with Christmas cookies, lemon fluff, Macy's trips, the laundry chute, Sunday car rides to Broadalbin, bumblebee tuna fish sandwiches at "camp" and her distinct tone of voice used when calling "Christine!" at times when something was amiss. A wonderful woman who raised a wonderful family! Love to all~Monica

She was Mrs. Boswell to me, until she insisted that I call her Katherine. She would always say HELLO SUSAN in that special voice. I will always remember the fun day we spent at the lake in the N.Y....I think we played May I for hours. She's probably chatting up a storm with Walt right now. All the best. Sue

To everyone that knew Katherine,
I only had the pleasure of knowing this sweet lady for six months when I worked at the Hillcrest Home. In that short time I grew to love her so much. Working as an Aid you get to be upclose and personal with most there, and that was how I was with Katherine. Every evening I would go to the dining room to assist and there would be that sweet little face smiling at me with a little wave. Being my name was Kathryn too we kinda bonded. At night I would bring her a snack before bed and always her overhead light would be on. I would turn on her bedside light and shut the larger light and she would always be so grateful. And being an aid had its perks too I would get to kiss her on the cheek every night and tell her good night. So I am very sad today being I don`t work there that I didn`t get to tell her good bye one last time. Prayers to you all and know that she is in my heart forever as so many are there at the home.
